Questions, answered.

Clear answers about Stripe access, dispute handling, pricing, and when Recovra asks for merchant input.

Quick answer

What can you learn before signup?

The Recovra FAQ explains how dispute handling works, when merchant input is required, how pricing is charged, what Stripe access is needed, and where automation stops for safety.

  • Pricing and billing triggers
  • Stripe access and merchant control

How it works

Do I need to manually respond to disputes?

Not every case. After activation is complete, Recovra monitors disputes automatically and prepares supported responses. If evidence is missing or the case falls outside supported automation boundaries, it moves to Needs input or manual review instead of being sent unsafely.

What happens if evidence is missing?

The case moves to Needs Input. You see exactly what proof is required. Nothing is submitted until the evidence is provided.

How fast does Recovra respond?

When live submission is enabled and the evidence is sufficient, Recovra sends the response before the Stripe deadline. If evidence is missing, the case waits in Needs input until you complete it.

What types of disputes are supported?

Recovra supports dispute workflows where Stripe data and your saved business evidence are sufficient. Some dispute reasons or evidence gaps still require manual review instead of automatic sending.

Pricing & billing

When do I pay Recovra?

Only after Stripe closes a dispute in your favor and Recovra has recovery proof. 20% of the verified won recovery. No subscription. No fee if a dispute is not recovered.

Security & access

What does Recovra access in my Stripe account?

Recovra connects through Stripe’s standard OAuth (read_write scope). Recovra stores encrypted OAuth tokens, reads dispute, payment, and customer context plus limited account metadata needed to operate dispute handling, and can submit review-approved dispute responses. Recovra does not use Stripe access to move payouts, transfer funds, or issue refunds.

Can I review or override decisions?

Every decision is visible in your workspace with the reason code, evidence strength, and expected outcome. Cases in Needs Input wait for your action before anything is sent. You can also set automation rules in Settings to hold specific dispute types or amounts for review.

Still have questions?

Request access and review whether Recovra fits your Stripe dispute workflow. No subscription or setup fee.
